Vishnu


Vishnu is the supreme god in the Vaishnavism tradition of Hinduism. Vishnu is described having divine color of water filled clouds. He is one of the three main gods, known as the preserver, while the other two are the creator and destroyer. The belief that Vishnu is the preserver in Hinduism cam quite after the creation of the religion. When the nine powers on Earth are upset and not equal it is fought Vishnu comes to equalize them and make them fair. Vishnu is portrayed as blue or black shinned and has four arms. He has a thousand names and their repetition is an act of devotion.
